Terms and conditions
You must agree to the following terms and conditions before proceeding to reserve one of the rental locations at www.grancanariaverblijven.nl.
1. Payment:
The full amount must be transferred to us four weeks before arrival at the flat or bungalow. After booking, you will receive our bank account number. The 25% deposit already paid will be deducted from the total amount to be paid no later than four weeks prior to your arrival.
Rental for short stays only.
If more than two adults are staying, an additional €25 per person per week will be charged.
If you wish to stay with more than two people, this must be approved by Grancanariaverblijven prior to the booking process. No
rights can be derived from stays with more than two persons.
If you use the air conditioning, we will charge a fee for the use of electricity.
The amount of kilowatts is measured using an approved app. You will pay us for the electricity used by the air conditioning on the day of departure. Other energy use is not charged extra and is included.
2. Check-in and check-out times:
Check-in and check-out times depend in part on the arrival and departure times of new or previous guests. If cleaning is required, you may enter the flat no later than 4 p.m. To ensure that the next guests can also enter the flat on time, you must vacate the flat by 10 a.m. on the day of departure. We can, of course, store your luggage until your departure or arrival. However, if the schedule allows, you may also enter the apartment earlier on the day of arrival or leave the apartment later on the day of departure (if you have a later return flight). In this case, we will not charge any additional costs. We therefore strive for mutual flexibility.
3. Cancellation:
In the event of cancellation, for whatever reason, the full amount must be paid, excluding the costs of final cleaning. If you have a valid cancellation for your cancellation insurance, the costs for renting our flat will be reimbursed to you by your insurance company. If you have complied with the points described in article “5. Booking:” and have paid the 25% deposit of the booking amount, no refund will be made in the event of cancellation.
You are responsible for taking out valid cancellation insurance.
4. Do you have cancellation insurance yourself?
Our holiday accommodations are rented out legally.
Grancanariaverblijven has an official VV sticker, which is required to submit a cancellation to your insurer.
If you have taken out cancellation insurance, Grancanariaverblijven can provide you with a statement confirming your booking and cancellation.
This allows you to claim back a sum determined by your insurer for the cancellation (subject to your insurer’s terms and conditions).
This sets us apart from illegal landlords, who will not refund your money in the event of cancellation.

5. Prices:

6. Booking:
A booking is confirmed provided that the following conditions are met.
5.1. Bookings are only finalised once a deposit of 25% of the total amount has been paid and confirmed by email by Grancanariaverblijven.nl.
The 25% deposit does not exempt you from the final payment as described in point 1.
Upon confirmation by Grancanariaverblijven.nl, you will receive the bank account details to which you can transfer the amounts. All information requested in the Booking Form must be provided in order to comply with Spanish law.
